1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SafeSpace ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

SafeSpace is designed for users aged 8-17. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent to use the Platform. Parent and Creator accounts are available for adults. By registering, you confirm that you meet the age requirements for your account type.

You agree to use SafeSpace responsibly. The following are prohibited:

• Bullying, harassment, or threatening behavior
• Sharing inappropriate, violent, or sexual content
• Sharing personal information (phone numbers, addresses, school names)
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your age
• Attempting to circumvent safety features or moderation
• Spamming, phishing, or distributing malware
• Using the platform for any illegal activity
• Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions

5. Content Ownership & Moderation

You retain ownership of content you create on SafeSpace (posts, comments, messages). By posting, you grant SafeSpace a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform. We reserve the right to moderate, filter, or remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

6. Courses & Payments

Creators may offer free or paid courses. For paid courses:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Course purchases grant lifetime access to the course content
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis
• Creators receive their revenue share as configured by the platform
• SafeSpace is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party course content

7. Points & Virtual Items

SafeSpace awards points for activities such as completing courses and engaging with the community. Points can be used to purchase virtual avatar items. Points and virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your profile, posts, and associated data will be removed. Course purchases and earned points are non-transferable and will be forfeited upon account deletion.

9. Disclaimers

SafeSpace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to maintain a safe environment, we cannot guarantee that all content will be appropriate at all times. We are not liable for user-generated content or interactions between users. Parents are encouraged to monitor their child's online activity.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will provide notice via the platform or email.
